Who We Are
​​Erin McCoy Alarcon provides quality, effective, and affordable dispute resolution and consulting services to help individuals, businesses and organizations manage, reduce and resolve conflicts. 

A graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Northeastern School of Law, Ms. Alarcon draws on her extensive legal advocacy experience, as well as life experience, to help parties explore their strengths and weaknesses, consider potential and likely outcomes, and find common interests and ground.  Ms. Alarcon brings calm and focused attention to detail to each mediation, has a keen ability to see all sides of a matter, and the diligence to reach resolution.  Ms. Alarcon's current mediation practice centers around employment, personal injury, contract, and family/divorce mediation.  She also offers other forms of conflict management and resolution, as well as various workplace trainings and employment practices counseling.

Ms. Alarcon is passionate about the work of Episcopal City Mission, a faith-based organization in Boston, Massachusetts that promotes economic and social justice throughout Massachusetts, with a special emphasis on the urban poor and oppressed.  She has had the honor of being part of Episcopal City Mission's Board of Directors since 2009.  She has previously served as the Vice Chair and Chair of the Board.  She current serves as a member at large. 

In her spare time, Ms. Alarcon enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, and cheering for the boys at soccer and karate events.  After two of her sons were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Ms. Alarcon has also become an advocate for autism acceptance and disability rights, and serves as a member of her town's Disability Commission.   She also enjoys yoga, zumba, hiking, reading, and writing.
